To activate your notifications for email, inbox, and chat, simply head over to the top right corner, click on your profile icon, and select "account settings."
You'll see the features you're allowed to access; anything beyond your permissions will appear greyed out.
From there, you can pick your preferred methods of staying informed.
Look out for new icons in every record, especially the watcher icon.
This feature lets you manually add key stakeholders to any job, ensuring they're updated in real-time as actions occur.
We've also implemented default rules to automatically assign watchers to jobs, invoices, and POs for certain activities, ensuring crucial updates never miss the mark.
We've borrowed the best aspects of our favorite real-time chat tools to bring you an integrated chat feature within Base. Now, you can have instant conversations with clients, vendors, and internal teams without ever leaving the platform. Opt-in for chat message notifications to be sent directly to your chosen method (inbox or email) and enjoy streamlined communication across all fronts.
Our new real-time inbox feature ensures you're always informed as changes happen. From work progress, invoice approvals to cost reconciliations, you'll receive notifications directly in Base, provided you've enabled the correct settings and are added as a watcher on relevant records.
If you haven't already, now is the perfect time to add your clients to your Base organization. This simple process gives your clients a dedicated view of the work you've done for them, streamlining their approval process. As a Base admin, you can onboard your clients in just a few steps.

Excel files can now be uploaded and mapped to import large amounts of data! This is currently available on the following tables, but we're open to making it available to more in the future:
There are now quick options for picking due dates like 15, 30, 45, and 60 days from the current day!
Want to see who's made changes to your job? Record History now shows recent changes for almost every record!

Don't want your due dates being shifted after an invoice is approved? You can toggle it off in your organization's settings!
This feature is within our "General" tab that we've added to organization settings. We would love to expand it with other preferences, and are open to feedback.
You can now pull custom fields into documents by filling out the "Field ID" field when creating a custom field, then adding that to your document (please note that we've temporarily disabled this feature due to an issue)
We have improved the default document templates to be more useful out-of-the-box by allowing organization admins to add and customize their banking information. This is managed in a new modal in the doc templates tab in org settings.
